I had to see this for myself. I read all the bad reviews about the bad wobbly chuck and I said "Milwaukee wouldn't do that!" Mine arrived in the mail today. I unpacked it, put in a bran new drill bit with an extension to exaggerate the wobble if there was any and woah. The tip of the bit was more than wobbling. It was drawing circles! Totally unusable and unacceptable Milwaukee! I don't know if it's a bad batch or what. The drill is amazing, however. I just have to go around to hardware stores and see if I can find one with a good chuck.

I have used this drill for a year now and it's a champ! I drill about 4-8 holes in contract per month with it and it has held up well and still looks and feels brand new.
It is so powerful that if I am not careful it will eat up my drill bits, but it's my fault for applying to much pressure. When I let the hammer feature and drill bit do its job, it works great!

I can't believe how bad this drill is. I am a fabricator and needed a good drill, instead I paid ALL THE MONEY for this. I can usually get 4 or 5 1/4" holes drilled through 1/8" steel before it overheats and shuts off. It is typical Chinese quality at a premium price. The batteries last mere minutes. Unless your just a homeowner looking for a pretty drill find another brand. They should be ashamed to put the Milwaukee brand on this. You can get the same quality for $19.99 at harbor freight and at least they don't pretend to manufacture a quality product.
